hello everyone. Is it better to eat raw food without the food going through a juicer or blender ?
Thanks sean

That would depend on th situation. Juicing separates the fiber from the fluid. If one is in need of LOTS of nutrients, juicing is a good way to go. Also, at first, some folk cannot tolerate a lot of fiber.

If one is in relatively good health, blending is better. Add a big raw salad ~ which involves chewing ~ the very first stage of digestion ~ and yer good to go.

Not sure which is necessarily "better", but I'd say that eating the whole fruit/veg is definitely more natural.

Thanks. According to Dr Tom Wu alot of 'phytochemicals exist in the skin, fibers and seeds. When you juice you throw these parts away'[interview with Dr Tom Wu]. So he recommends using a blender. I was just thinking that god did not give a blender or juicer to adam and eve. Anyway that why I was thinking it may be better to eat living food in it's natural state.

If you want to spiritualize HOW you eat your raw foods, that's fine. But just keep in mind that this isn't a Christian board and while there are some Christians here, not everyone is.

Also, while yes, our foods were provided to us sans a blender, juicer, etc. there are many other things I'm sure use in your daily life that were not presented to Adam and Eve (car or other vehicle, house, clothing, toilet, shoes, socks, refrigerator, etc.) not to mention the fact that Adam and Eve didn't go to the grocery store to buy their food but rather they picked directly from the trees.

I have no qualms with wanting to eat foods in their natural state as it is the most natural way to eat them, but to use or not to use a blender is just not an issue for me (also a Christian) at this point.

To Rawkinlocs, I hope I have not offended you in any way.
I am just looking for the healther way of eating. Most companies are out to make a profit and I am beginning to learn that I can't believe everything I read.
If people get offended because I am a christian so be it, they killed jesus and god has told us not to be lukewarm and not to be fearful but to be willing to lay down our lives for him. To love him above all things including our own lives, and even our families and friends.
