I love eating the skin of mangoes.I love the chewy texture and slightly bitter flavor of the skins.I just wonder if it is safe.

I would google that one. Also, check to see if they're sprayed with something. They may not have been sprayed when grown (then again, may have been) yet, the U.S. has a habit of spraying produce at the docks.

I did some research and less than 9% of conventionally grown mangoes had pesticides on them and I normally try to eat everything organic anyway.They just taste so good.I like eating the skins of my friuts and vegetables.

There's some questionable skins out there (avocado? banana?), mango isn't one of them. Peeling a mango for me would be like peeling an apple (you don't peel apples do you you?). I get mangoes organic myself so no worries about infected peelage. Happy mango munchin.

That's how I found out I am allergic to mangoes. :rolleyes:

a coma? Never heard of anyone going into a coma when having an allergic reaction. :rolleyes:

NO its not safe at all. If you were to do this, you would be revving the engine way to high and this can cause seizure to the engine.

Orange peels do that to me..and lemon peels. Well they actually only put me in a permanent pucker. teehee
