Are the nuts in Alissa's recipe soaked or unsoaked?

Blend this really well so its creamy and not grainy. It will be thick but then when you put it on the veggies it will liquefy.

I made the alfredo sauce last night. Yu-my......My only issue was with the summer squash. Those things are hard to peel. :mad: I didn't know whether or not to peel off the outer part of both the zucchini and summer squash so I did. Other than that the dish is terriffic.

Sol...I used a carrot peeler and it worked really well for the squash. I think the peel issue is a matter of taste. I believe in the DVD, Alissa said she likes to remove the skin.
Darn tasty meal. At first I thought I was going to eat the whole thing...but nuts are so concentrated that I became satisfied very quickly and ate a pretty normal quantity.
