Ok great! You can take even three tbsp a day. You can stir it into water or put it in smoothies!

It is bitter and best taken with Vit C rich food (like OJ)...

I used to take it and saw no improvement...then found out that you should take like 4 tea spoons a day...however, it might trigger detox and headaches!

I ll start again as soon as my shipment arrives!

Let me know how it works for you! How much were you taking when you didn't see a difference?

Why would it trigger a detox?

I was taking 2 tea spoons daily for couple of months.

I read that it triggers detox on GITMR, I ll see soon :)

Hmmm... I've been torn over whether to grow my hair out long again or not. I cut it off 4 years ago because I was tired of dry, crackly, frizzy, unattractive hair.

I've been wondering if RAW can help me grow healthy, luscious locks... because I'm starting to want to look like a girl again. ;) :D

I also think your hair looks great as is. That's a DopeRawBeings only input.

My New Chapter prenatals are giving my hair a boost even with my crappt dietary intake (soon to change).

Increased avacado and olive oil also helps me, plus washing without shampoo adds in maintain good moisture.

I also only have my hair thermostyled only once a week usually jusrt once every two weeks. If I want curls I pin curly it after straightening. If I want it kinky crimpy or free formed then I braid it when wet and let it air dry.

In the winter pure coconut oil works as a good holding aid. But ummm it will make hair a little oily if you hang out in avery warm house for a while before right after applying. Works better if you run it through your hair with fingers on the way out the door into cold air, freezes stiff! Plus comditions hair too.

I didn't think of that! That's a good idea. Can you tell a difference in how fast it's growing with pre-natals?

Technically it may only be growing an additional 1/4 in per month more than usual but because my hair is stronger thicker and fuller in a healthy way, I am retaining more length and not gettig stuck with a bunch of split ends or senseless shedding.

Ive heard that inversions (being upside down or nearly so) helps a lot and also is supposed to have other health (and mental) benefits. You can do yoga inversions, get an inversion table or just prop an ironing board up on your bed and lay on it (I tried that once, very uncomfortable).

I've also heard good things about MSM

Blessings,

Audrey

I haven't heard of that either! My sister has an inversion table, I might have to try that out too!

Is there anyway to get the benefits of msm without taking supplements. Is it found in any fruit/veg?

It occurs in small amounts in lots of fruits and veggies but it is definitely present in larger amount in onions and I think maybe garlic and durian. You'd have to eat a ton of that stuff to get anywhere near the supplementation levels though.

Blessings,

Audrey

Your posts prompted me to get out the MSM powder again. I used to take a Tablespoon a day a while back, but had stopped. I dissolve it in a small glass of water and chug it down. Tried it in OJ today. Ruined a good glass of OJ. :p
