Hair Colour Changing?

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm about to hop off to work, but as I was doing my hair just now I noticed something odd, but wonderful!

My natural hair colour is growing in LIGHTER. The past few years I have put it through hair dye hell and back! First to black, then bleach blonde, then dark brown, bad to blonde! Horrid I know...Now, naturally I am a very dark blonde, bordering on light brown. Since going raw (into fourth month now) I have not dyed my hair at all. I want to look natural...

HOWEVER, I realized that the hair growing in is almost the exact same shade as the light blonde I dyed it back during the summer! It's so shimmerie and golden! Love it! I hadn't noticed until now, as it has finally reach about 2 inches grown out, so I can really see it in the light now. Took a minute to figure out where the dyed hair ended and the new growth began...


Has anyone else noticed this? or even hair getting darker, anything! I am so please!

I've heard of something similar with several long-time raw folks... Ann Wigmore being one of them, I believe (actually her grey hair began growing back in her natural brown shade). I hope it happens to me... my natural color is light brown (some people mistakenly referred to me as blonde in my teens and early 20's), but it became darker and darker to the point that someone actually called my hair black (a year or two ago, about the time my avatar photo was taken). Now, I happen to think jet black hair is stunning, but it's not my color!! I'm hoping that now that I'm back on raw, it will grow in as my natural color!

As a child I had naturally streaked hair, then just the hair around my face was blond - the rest med/dark brown. In my teens the blond area was 2 inches wide, during my 20's-30's - I was punk/goth and HATED that california look! I died it out of my head for 20 years, when I decided, gee - my natural haircolor is really special - let me grow that out natural.....

Not only was there quite a few white strands in the dark brown-but my blond band was down to only about 1/8-1/4 inch and a darker blond/light brown.

I felt totally owned:(

I have thought lately though that the blond band was getting a bit brighter/wider. Too soon to be sure. The few white strands are still in there:mad:

I will follow this.

Makes sense that if raw rejuvenates, we'd go back to our younger hair colors? Right ladies? Let's insist upon it!

hope mine does too!!! I think the back of my hair has less grey but not sure about the front yet. Know around the hair line is still very grey.
