Hi everyone. I just did a search for PCOS and none of the threads really touched on my question. So basically, last August I had to have surgery to remove a tumor from one of my ovaries. (I'm 21.) I've mostly healed from the surgery since. When my doctor was performing the procedure, he took pictures of my ovaries and uterus, etc, and noted that my ovaries are thickened and have a white film on the outside of them. He said that this can cause excess testosterone, which I'm assuming is the reason I've been dealing with acne for the past couple of years. My gyno said that thickened ovaries such as mine signal the very early stages of PCOS, but she stressed to me over and over again that it was completely reversable through diet and lifestyle changes. It's just frustrating because I'm not overweight, I ovulate and have periods, and I don't have any of the other signs of PCOS. But what I was wondering about this is, do any of you ladies have some symptoms of PCOS but not all of them? And have any of you experienced a feeling of "fullness" in your ovaries? Mine seem to feel...just "full" is the best way I can describe it, most of the time. And a lot of the time they hurt when I sneeze. I'm guessing that's because they are enlarged for whatever reason. But according to my surgeon, everything looked completely healthy and normal, except for the swollen ovaries. Do you think that going 100% raw will cure this?
