View Full Version : coconut oil - weight loss or gain?

what have peoples experiences been?

ive read so much about coconut oil and speeding up metabolism, and thus leading to weight loss, but i took a couple of teaspoons a day for a couple of months and didnt really notice anything.

i dont wanna be taking it if its not going to be converted into energy (i.e. if i take a tablespoon in the morning then just sit at my desk for 3 hrs, will it turn into fat?)

my naturopath seems to think that no matter what youll lose weight if u take it daily.

what do people think?

I lost weight taking it daily. Maybe it's different for everyone?

What are you eating besides that? I can't remember how long it took to lose weight but it was defintely at least a couple of months.

how much were you taking klomasius?

ive had people tell me to take 3x tablespoons a day, but that seems like heaps. i also dont know how to work it into my eating regime as i dont want to have it combined with fruit etc.

im eating relatively low fat raw - fruit for breakfast, gs for lunch, veggies/fruit as snacks, salad/soup etc for dinner, ive lost a tincy bit of weight doing this but not much.

also, does the weight you loose from taking it stay off, or od you have to continuously take it?
