This afternoon, my partner in crime and I made flax crackers and sweet potato chips and popped them in our dehydrator. Just went to check on them before heading off to bed and the flax crackers are bangin'! The sweet potatoes are still a little chewy, so I'm hoping they will crisp throguhout the night.
The excitement comes because we really haven't found any real raw recipes that have knocked our socks off yet, so I am totally stoked that the crackers are so good. It also helps a lot because I've always been a salty chip kind of guy and I have a feeling that these crackers will help me get away from those tortilla chips I love so much!
One quickie question...is there a huge taste difference between the dark flax and the golden? We used dark, but wondering what the real difference taste-wise is between the two?
