Good Morning! Super excited for day 2! I woke up this morning and my face wasn't AS puffy and my belly wasn't AS bloated!!! I also tested my PH for the heck of it (haven't dared to in a while) and it was at the optimum level!! I never tested it before when I was 100% raw.... I did once when I was back to old habits and it was super acidic.. scary...

So I have tons of motivation today, haven't gotten hungry yet so I'll post later on again!

Hope everyone else is having a great raw morning, crisp and cold here in New England... snuggled by the fire :)

Good Morning seRAWnity, your motivation is invigorating. :)

I just made a breakfast of (possibly one of the last pieces of fruit in our house... Grocery shopping!!). A mashed up banana mixed with a little bit of water, sprinkled walnuts, cacao nibs, and honey drizzled on top with a cup of nettle tea. I have a busy day ahead of me on about 4 hours of sleep. (Last night I had some strong and awakening realizations. Positive ones none the less). Now I am off to run. Have a Wonderful Day, everybody!

I'm here with ya! Nothing to eat yet, my eyes are barely open LOL

I have lots of fruit in the house. Lots of veggies... it'll be a yummy day indeed!

Made it through day 1, even after realizing there was still pumpkin cheesecake left in fridge:D but I bit the bullet and resisted saying to myself "SAD pumpkin cheesecake, SAD pumpkin cheesecake..." and it seemed to work. I still have a headache from yesterday but I know it will subside. And I have to concur with seRAWnity cause I think my body is not as bloated and puffy. Mostly fruit today and I wish everyone a great RAW day!

Good morning!

I ended day one with the pad thai (OMG, so good). I think its my favorite recipe so far. Then I made the date/nut torte and it is TDF. I had to bring it into work today to get some of my co-workers to try it.

Today I started off with a full glass of water with lemon, then an hour of boot camp this morning at 6am. Came home and juiced a pineapple as it was going to get too ripe. I drank about half of that juice. Came to work and they were having a building breakfast in the lobby, so I snagged some grapes and a few slices of canteloupe off the breakfast bar. Then, had a small slice of the torte just to see if it is as good today as I remembered yesterday and I think its actually better, if that's possible. I will have more of the pad thai for lunch today.

I do seem to have a lot of energy. During camp this morning it never even hit me that I was doing it without coffee. I used to drink a cup of coffee and an energy bar of some kind before going. Today I think I just had water.

Oh my god, did I fall off the wagon.

But I'm back and I'm going to make December an amazing raw month!

Today I've had a package of lovely huge organic blueberries, and I'm contemplating a grapefruit and green smoothie for dinner. But it is sooo COLD!!! This is going to be a tough month I think...

That is a GREAT idea for breakfast....mashing up a banana with toppings! I'm gonna have to try that once my fast is over!

Hello everyone! This morning I was in a rush so my green smoothie was super simple - spinach, frozen bananas and frozen strawberries - and was basically ice cream. But delish! Now I'm munching on an apple, and I've got a cucumber and some cauliflower popcorn with me for lunch :)

edit: i had hand made flax crackers and guacamole tonight too :)

This sounds decadent!! And sounds like breakfast tomorrow :) Think I'll do some almond milk instead of water and maybe warm it a bit cause it's getting chilly around here. This just made my tomorrow! :D

So trying to be accountable this December (been doing great but worried with holiday stuff and cold weather) so I thought I'd join in here and try to chekc in once a day throughout the month.

B: banana and raspberries
L: tomato and avo
S: 2 figs and some pistacios
D: I'm thinking pumpkin pie....just cause I can

Mmmm, RawKate, that sounds sooo yummy.

I'm not quite as sluggish as usual. So maybe my energy level is increasing because of my new fab diet. I sure hope so. I sure need all I can get!

For breakfast I had a cocoflax wrap. (Check the recipe section for that) Mid morning, I had a green smoothie. Now for lunch, I'm enjoying a tasty salad. Nothing fancy: cabbage, lettuce, cukes, green peppers, tomatoes & a bit of ranch. And for dinner I'm going to eat a nacho salad. Man oh man, I need some olives for that!

Day two went good! Started off great, wasn't super hungry today and was able to keep my food addiction under control. Had another asian salad for lunch, it was HUGE and made a mint chocolate bomb for dinner (frozen almond milk, a young coconut, mint, dash vanilla, agave, and a spoonful of cacao blended) and then a small bunch of cauliflower popcorn because I didn't get to it last night!

Katie P, I'm glad you like the idea! It reminded of me of the old oatmeal days, only 23847362 times better. It WAS a great breakfast and kept me full through my workout and until lunch. My mom always says, "necessity is the mother of invention!"

Yummy! So glad you found inspiration! How do you warm it?

Today, I had~
L: shredded cabbage, tomato, white mushroom salad with coconut aminos, an ear of corn drizzled with olive oil and sea salt.
S: sliced apple with cinnamon, 1 banana
D: (fave) I chopped up 3 stalks of celery into thirds, took 3 pieces of red bell pepper and used a half an avocado to fill the celery and bell pepper pieces sprinkled with cumin, cayenne, sea salt, and lime juice accompanied with a shredded collard and tomato salad with oregano and apple cider vinegar. (so good!)
Dessert: chopped banana with a handful of walnuts and some raisins drizzled with cocoa powder and honey.

Basically finished the day with what I started with...:)

Exercise!: ran 1.6 miles, covered 2 miles all together, did some abs... I am hoping to run longer tomorrow and have a more thorough gym session.

P.S. I have to do this Powerpoint presentation for a computer class about a topic that interests me the most... Guess what mine is on?? RAW FOODS. :D Go figure.

Pixie, tell me about it! I got 4 hours of sleep last night, woke up early, worked out, and am still up at 11pm feeling ok! This diet works wonders on energy levels and mental focus. However, I am looking forward to a loggish state of sleep tonight. :)

Another smoothie day (though I waited too long tonight, got starved, and ate about 6 olives while waiting for my smoothie to finish).
B: My current favorite of 4 apples, 1 cup cranberries, bunch of kale, ginger, and cinnamon. That lasted me for breakfast and lunch.
S: 2 bananas and about 1/2 cup blueberries. Not enough but the larder is EMPTY.
Late Supper: Avocado, tomato, romaine, green pepper, onion, and garlic seasoning.

All smoothies except the olives! I am nice and full now. Payday isn't till friday but my girls and I were so hungry I charged $30 of groceries to last till Friday!
