Hi,
I have an appointment lined up for next week, and to increase my chances of getting the job I need to look my best. I will tell you that my appointment is performing arts-based and I'm sure you'll understand.

Unfortunately at the moment I'm currently midway through a 10 day tonsilitis treatment, I have some acne on my face and I'm about 20 pounds overweight.

I am planning to go 100% raw tomorrow, as part of a trial. But now I have this appointment (next Saturday, to be precise) I really would like some advice on exactly what I should be eating to help clear my skin as nicely as possible, and to improve my figure as much as possible (the numbers aren't important but I usually start to look better about 7 lbs lighter..?).

Can anyone advise me at all on what types of raws, how much water, in what combinations, what exercise, what beauty routines, etc etc? Thank you so much! :)

PS. The only exact figure I know is that my body fat is 34%.

One week isn't much time to make drastic life changes, but you may as well start now. The first week is definitely the hardest, so make sure that you plan on going raw for more than just the next week.

I have been 100% raw for over three months and I have lost a substantial amount of weight (approx 15+ lbs). Try coconut oil on your face for blemishes.

My best advice is just to read up on how to start being raw. There's a ton of information on this site.

Best of luck with your audition.

GREEN SMOOTHIES.... as much as you can drink each day. :)

I work in the Performing Arts (Opera) and nothing works better for my energy, appearances and keeping my skin glowing and figure trim like those Green Smoothies!!!

Also, you really should get a copy of Alissa Cohen's book this week and using the Audition as your motivation, read, read, READ!!! Cover to cover!

Because no one here can give you an exact plan to follow - your body is different than mine or anyone else's, and will respond differently to the same "plan" so you have to experiment and discover YOUR plan.

But to get started with that whole tricky "Listen to your body!" thing, read Alissa's book: she will walk you through the first 30 days, and from there, trust me... you WILL start to figure it all out. ;)
