Hello
I know every one has diffrent opinions on things like this but how much fruit do you think is ok to eat when your trying to get rid of acne.
1. As much as you want.
2. None at all.
3. Few times a week.
And do you think fruit really affects acne.

I'd say eat as much as you want! Of course every body is different and I can only speak from my own experiences, but when I'm eating lots and lots of fruit (10+ servings a day) my skin is radiant and perfect. If I slack on the fruit it seems to lose that glow and I'm more prone to getting a pimple or two.
Just remember that, for best results, fruit should be eaten alone (without veggies, nuts, seeds etc) on an empty stomach, and it's best not eat another type of food til the fruit has digested. Most fruits will be digested within 30 minutes or so. Following proper food combining will maximize your chances of seeing greater improvements in your skin.

I led a 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge for over a dozen SAD eaters a few months ago, and the one thing ALMOST ALL noticed consistently was an improvement in their skin. Some cleared their acne entirely, others noticed their skin was softening and had begun to glow. And these were folks still eating mostly SAD, so if Green Smoothies can do that for THEM, it will definitely help you as a RAW eater. :D
I really hope this'll work because in the past year my face my broken out really badly and I can't actually pinpoint the reason.. I had clear skin up until I was about 17 and a half, then suddenly BAM! acne everywhere, it's annoying as hell.
It's not my age, either, I'm well past that stage of getting "teen" acne!
I'll try the mono-eating although with green smoothies you can't really do that, can you?

I really want to do green smoothies but i wont have a blender untill another few weeks adleast.
My diet at the moment is:
lemon water in the morning.
fruit some days but not a lot.
Salad once or twice a day
then around 200-500 g of nuts a day.
My skin is doing ok but I really want it clear now.
And my new diet from today is:
lemon water in the morning.
Fruit evryday.
1 or 2 salads a day.
and nuts just 1 or twice a week.
And after a few weeks see how things are going.
What does evryone here think???

^ That sounds really good but I think you should eat MORE, less of the nuts maybe much more fruit and vegetables, if you're detoxing the more you eat the more you speed it up.
Just curious, have you noticed any positive effects from raw yet?

Yes, skin has gotten better but still not clear. Feel happyer and more energy. But i dont think the nuts ive been eaten were raw.
How much fat a day do you guys and girls suggest if im doing a high fruit diet.

First of all, doesn't sound like you're eating ENOUGH.
Second, you really need to step up the Greens + Fruit!!!
Third, these are my opinions! :D You know what's right for you, you just have to DO IT.
Also... I would strongly recommend that you get a Blender as soon as possible. It is truly the one appliance I would say is NECESSARY to be successful as a Rawbie, and I base that on the power and potential (and track record!) of GREEN SMOOTHIES.
Have you ever read GREEN FOR LIFE by Victoria Boutenko? :)

Each person in the challenge was drinking a different amount... they were completely individual, listening to their bodies. Some folks drank a couple blender fulls a day, others drank only 8 oz.
Each person who consistently drank at least 8 oz. of GREEN SMOOTHIE daily experienced positive benefits ranging from their complexion/skin clearing, energy levels skyrocketing, lessened pain from ailments such as Fibromylagia and Arthritis, better sleep, fewer headaches and Migraines for those who were sufferers, and the big prize-winner was the disabled woman who had had trouble urinating naturally for years and was finally able to relieve herself without assistance!!!
I know that seems like TMI, but imagine that one!!!
And one little more note from me, cashew nuts aren't raw, in case you're eating those :P

Amii - Actually, it depends on your source. :) You can find genuinely RAW cashews.

Definitely not TMI. I appreciate you sharing what you know! That's amazing stuff that the tasty green drinks can do for you.

I, too, have been trying to increase my fruits and veggies with juicing and having some trouble. I've been having;
apple, celery juice
mango, coconut water smoothie
papaya, coconut water smoothie
my digestion is good, but my skin is worse. The other day I added pineapple and bam, heartburn city. So, today I had;
papaya, romaine, coconut water smoothie
and I will keep this up to see if things change.
I know I suffer from candida and it shows up on my face in little itchy bumps. Oh, I also had a
cucumber, celery juice
and it seemed o.k. I hope I have the success some of you have had. Hopefully adding the greens will make a difference.
