Hi all,

My daughter and I went for a nice walk today (approx. 1 1/2-2 miles I guess) and I noticed that after we got so far, one of my legs itched...seemingly on the INSIDE rather than on the surface.

I also noticed this when my husband and I went for a walk of similar distance.

Some years ago, when we'd go for long walks, it would happen in both legs, but now it seems to only occur in one leg (the left one).

He used to tell me it was due to poor circulation and lack of exercise, but I go walking if not but a short brisk walk, almost everyday.

Any insight as to why that inward itching of the leg(s) occurs sometimes when walking a long distance, walking fast or running?

Thanks for any input!

Ok, I get this myself and it is so annoying. I always thought it was the cool air against my legs or maybe the way my shorts or pants were rubbing against my leg(s). But I've been told that it's something to do with your skin breaking out in something like hives (don't know why, though) and an antihystamine can help. Or you can see a doctor.

Personally, when I was training for a marathon and it happened during my running, I would coat my legs in vaseline (pre raw) and it never bothered me.

So I'm really not answering your question but thought I'd share something!

Sounds like something to do with circulation. Natural healing occurs slowly. Is the distance you walked today the normal distance or is it longer than normal? I would seek to increase my walking and my intake of high water content foods. Its definitely internal and its something in the blood. What types of non-raw foods have you been eating lately?

Peace.

Thanks Debbie and Todd for responding!

LOL! Todd you busted me out BIG time on that one didn't you? :o Yes, I've been eating some non-raw stuff here and there chips and that could very well be the culprit along with some circulation issues.

The distance I walked today, I don't walk everyday, but atleast two to three times a week. I'd actually say it must be about 3-4 miles since it's about a mile and a half one way but I didn't consider that it's to and fro.

LOL Its not hard to do....these things don't just pop up for nothing....As we have learned from being raw ;)

I will pray for you sister. Grace is more than powerful enough to do away with them chips :)

Peace.

all conditions come from acid waste buildup in the body. Aint no thang-you know how to handle that, girl....
