Okay... call me silly, but I am jumping up and down with super happiness and incredible pride! I made it through today 100% raw!!!!!! THAT is a big step for me because the past two days I have lost my willpower at some point or another! :(

I am actually incredibly full right now.. just drank a smoothie because I wanted something sweet! I almost blew it a couple times today and, in fact, took a bite of something I made for my ds (SAD) and spit it out before I could even chew it! AHHH, good feeling! :D

Just had to share my happiness!

Hugs to everyone tonight!

Hi Rawadventures,

Well, congratulations! It sounds like you set a goal for yourself for today, and you accomplished it. Are you wanting to go 100% raw, all the time? Or are you just trying to string a few days together at 100%? I haven't ever had a completely 100% raw day, but then I haven't set that goal for myself yet. I do have plenty of days at probably 85%-90%, though. Definitely the more raw I eat, the better I feel. The small amount of cooked food that I consume doesn't seem to do me any harm, and so I am happy with where I'm currently at.

Wishing you all the best,

Christine

Christine,

My goal is to maintain 100% raw. I am wanting Alissa's book so badly. I am learning to enjoy this lifestyle for health reasons and also because I need to lose weight. I find that if I give myself that margin of having certain cooked foods that it really makes me want more - to me that is a sign of a cooked food addiction and I want to combat that.

Now my goal is to be 100% raw and eat properly (while raw) so that I can lose weight!! The weight is not "falling" off of me like it did the first time I went raw, so I am focusing on healing instead....... trying to be patient!

Teri,
Congrat's!!!!! IT IS something to be proud of !!! Those first few days back on raw are soooooooooo hard.. I am always so tempted, but I always try to remember that after 3 days, it is no problem......Trouble then is never putting a single bite of cooked in my mouth, or I start slipping again....Good thing is that I have done this so many times that I am learning...slowly but surely :)

So how is today going??? All raw??

Blessings,
Jamie :)
