I had three small (palm of your hand small) panini thingies. Oh it was good going down but now, OMG my tummy is heavy. I also had spinach salad with a dressing I made which was DElish! Now i am regretting eating the three small panini thingies. MY tummy HURTS now uggghhh.
I hate that I ate it now.
On a good note, I have been doing the Couch to 5K. I am on my second week only lol but feel good doing it. I start tomorrow doing three minute jogs and then I walk, alternating for 30 minutes.
Eating raw foods is really hard to stick to. But I am going to try and hang in there.

Hey when I lived in Birmingham I did a couch to 5 K!
I wish I could do that now!
Congrats on that healthier lifestyle!

Hmmm If I say something is hard, then it is. If I say its easy, then it is.

Wendy, have you read Alissa Cohen's book, yet?? LIVING ON LIVE FOOD is easily the most clear, inspiring, straightforward and AWESOME book out there on RAW foods... I STRONGLY encourage you to go grab a copy and read it today. :D

Thank you for your replies. I feel so bloated after eating that last night. Now I am mad at myself for doing it. Back to my juicing, smoothies and just salads! YAY.
I check out the book Living on Live Food. Thanks for mentioning that.

Greenie is right about Alissa's book. It will give you all the tools you need to get going. She gives a 30-day plan where she tells you exactly what to eat each day. Her recipes are simply scrumptious!
Eating raw really isn't hard if you take the time to fix yourself good food!

Wendy,
Boy, I've sure been there!!! Look at my blog & you'll see!!!
Best thing to do now is move on. You ate it...it's gone now... Beating youself up now is comparable to beating a dead horse...useless. However, please remember this feeling. It'll help you to stay RAW and make a better decision next time you are presented with a choice like that.
You CAN do it!!! You're doing GREAT...please don't doubt that! Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint! It's a journey, so just step over that molehill and keep going!!!!
Hugs, Nee

Now I am mad at myself for doing it.
No need, if you didn't eat the offending food you wouldn't have taught yourself how much it sucks... make positives of every sit-e-ation.

Wendy - the only ones that have not been there are the ones who NEVER ate anything cooked and did not need to transition from birth. Haven't yet met one of them.
Just learn from the mistake and start again!

Thank you everyone! You are right. I am not going to beat myself up about it anymore. I just got back up on the saddle and started again. Thanks for all the encouragement. :) and I am going to get Alissa's book very soon.

Don't you find that it is SOOO hard to get back on the right track?!
Because I do.
I feel bad and guilty and I promise myself that from tomorrow I will be back 100%, that cheers me up, but by the end of tomorrow, the day later at the latest, I ve sinned again!
This can go on for weeks...
I am now on 100% raw vegan diet (no salt) and I am not hungry and I do not have cravings...its more of a problem of needing something different, being bored and needing that relaxation I usually feel afterwoods...
GOOD LUCK :)

We're in the same boat, Silveretta. I do the EXACT same thing. :( As long as we get back on track sometime. I find it easier to get back in the groove if I make up a load of raw food. Onion bread, flax crackers, cookies, etc.

I get the craving for something sweet! I found a dessert called Not Peanut Butter Cookie. It was pretty good. It took that sweet craving away.
Now I just feel like I have stalled in losing weight. It's ok though. I am new to this and I am sure it will take time. I am really liking the better way of eating though. :)
