Double post ... sorry.

I just received my Lurch Dyskus Mandoline and couldn't be happier. Made some zucchini and yellow squash chips for my son in the dehydrator. Added a little sea salt. the waffle cuts were new and fun. It's much more versatile than my old Mandoline. fyi.

hmm, I can't tell by looking - but will this one do the long spaghetti strands of zucchini - like for raw noodles???

No it doesn't.

It also looks like 3mm is the thinnest it can slice which isn't very thin, I have a 1mm ultra thin slicing disc for my food processor which is good for making chips.

Other than that it looks really good.
