what do you do when you had a really hard day "to keep your eye on the raw prize"? I do sooo well for so long, nothing stops me, but then when I have those god awful days (not just oh I had a long day, like the days you find out your gma has cancer, or your puppy almost died, etc) Those are the days I mess up. so what do you do to not fall of course?
Thanks!

Come here and post and listen to what others tell you.
I get busy. Out in the yard, playing with my fur babies, work out...
I also always have some Raw goodness that I can munch on and not feel guilty.
Yup - also know how AWFUL you will feel if you cave.

I remind myself that no amount of SAD food is going to fix the problem, have some good raw food for comfort (I know I know but sometimes it really does help and if it is raw, who cares?) and then do what I can to actually help the current situation.

Load up on tons of raw goodies! :D Really, there is a raw equivalent to every SAD temptation. You can either make them yourself, buy them locally or order on-line. Always good to have an emergency supply for when you need them.

Hear hear!
When I've had a really hard day I rest, take a long hot shower, practice Vipassana meditation or make some super yummy raw treats.

Raw chocolate hemp balls...then put some music on, get on my rebounder and jump, jump jump. Actually, I learned this trick from my kids: if I let them have chocolate after supper...they would go quietly to their rooms. Later, when I checked on them to see if they were doing their homework, I found they were jumping up and down on their beds instead.
Soooo...eat chocolate... then jump up and down :D

I take a soothing bath and even will try walking before and if that doesn't do the trick I relax in a bath.

I tend to want something heavier, so I'll have a big bowl of coleslaw, or something with cauliflower, or a BUNCH of hemp seeds, straight from the bag! Lol!
& of course I pray through whatever I'm going through...
....sometimes, during a REALLY bad day, I totally lose my appetite, & often that leads to a mini-fast...
