Friend Request, What is it??

Hi,

I have been meaning task this question for sooooo long! I often get the mail below and have no clue what " a friendship reqest" is. What is it? What is the purpose, what happens once you have acceppted a request, HELP??????

I have been really leary, you know like with junk mail and telephone solicitors! Until I saw that some of the requests were from, well, someone I actually recognized:D! I'm a bit embarrassed as all those requests i have recieved must think I have just ignored them when really I just had no clue what it was.:rolleyes: So THANKS!

You can change who views what. Go to User CP (above, green bar, left) and then to Profile Privacy. Mine are set so only registered members can view all of this. See below:
