Hello

What do you guys and girls think of the BLENDTEC Xpress Blender. I'm thinking of getting one but wanted to see what people thought of it first.

I want it to make smoothies, nut milk, soups etc.

Hope you can help.

I'd suggest you do a search here for that. It's been discussed ad nauseum ~ really. ;)

Regarding Blendtec, am getting a Blendtec HP3A with a 96 ounce carafe for under $370 and will post when I get a chance to test it.

Revvell is right: do a search for the topic. :)

My personal experience: I bought a VITAMIX for $200 a year ago and I could not be a happier girl. :D

I vote for the refurbished Vitamix that comes with a 7 year warranty. :D

I should be getting the Blendtec tomorrow and will do some runs for smoothies, nut milks, blended salads and soups and report back. If you do decide to go with Blendtec, I recommend you buy the 96 ounce carafe with the HP3A rather than the standard 64 ounce based on what I've seen from Matt Monarch's demonstration which compares the performance of the two carafes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RO7bkHxiQEM. Again, I don't know what the "Xpress Blender" is. I'm not familiar. I also don't know if it can accomodate the 96 ounce carafe. If it can't and your budget can afford it, I'd recommend the HP3a with the 96 ounce carafe. I'm buying from 2-Life.com. Price including shipping for me is $365. Will report back.
