My name is Abigail. I'm 21 years old, married 2 years, and we have two beautiful daughters (21 months & 2 months). I came across the raw food diet by accident last Winter, while searching healthy lifestyle tips on the internet. I was interested in it then, but my husband and I were trying to get pregnant, and I didn't know how healthy it would be to eat only raw foods during my pregnancy. So I delayed on starting the raw food diet.
Just last week, it came to mind again, and I watched a few YouTube videos on the diet. I researched some information on different Web Sites, as well. Yesterday, I went to a health food store and purchased TONS of fruits and vegetables, along with almond butter, agave sweetener, and some Nama Shoyu.
I started the diet last night, however, today I put some almond butter and banana on two slices of whole grain-whole wheat bread, as well as eating a few spoonfuls of ice cream, this evening. =/
I am not proud to say that I started the diet off this way, but I craved something that I normally eat all day long. I am staying positive, though. I know that I can do this. I'm already seeing an increase in energy and concentration. I will not give up!
Aside from raw food, I do aspire to incorporate Yoga into my every day life. I've been playing piano most of my life and music moves my soul like nothing else on this earth. I am a Christian. My relationship with God isn't always clear to me, but it is something I strive to better each and every day.
;) Adios.
