Hey, Im 15, 5'3 and currently weigh 102 lbs. Im female.
Today, I woke up and decided I wanted to be pure and 100% alive.
I didnt know I would stumble upon RAW diet sites. But I did.
Last year I started eating healthy and losing weight, now I want to take eating healthy to the next level. After recovering from a binge (a bad 2 day binge over the weekend) I decided what the heck, I'll eat a bowl of fruit for the rest of the week (for breakfast) since I felt disgusting. I never felt more happier and a live, even after one bowl and one week. My skin looked better too.
I stopped and went back to eating cereal with almond milk. I got pimples back now.
Yeah, now I just want a complete change.
But I have a few questions.
1) What do you do with social situations, where your with SAD people?
2) Where can I get a bunch of fruit and veggies for a lot less then at my supermarket?
3) Whats cooked food? Is it like cooked veggies or something?
4) What would you recommend to a RAW newbie and her parents?
5) What are the pros?
6) What are the cons?
7) Do I need to exercise or watch calories for RAW?
8) Where can I find sprouted bread and tortillas?

Thanks, I bet ill have a lot more questions to come!

First things first... pick up Alissa's book and DV (http://www.alissacohen.com/shop/Books-p-1-c-2.html)D.

1) I eat raw and let other people eat what they choose.
2) Buy bulk from co-ops or ask your local market if you can buy by the case.
3) Cooked food is food which is cooked above 118 degrees.
4) Eat a variety of raw fruits and veggies and enjoy your food!
5) Health
6) ummm... I don't have any.
7) Nope
8) You can make raw versions but cooked versions are not raw and available at your local store.

1) What do you do with social situations, where your with SAD people? Seeing that you are a young person, this can be a challenge. If you get clear on why you do what you do and see the results, you can simply be with it. Love the way you eat and leave the others to eat their stuff. It gets easier. After a while it wont even matter.

2) Where can I get a bunch of fruit and veggies for a lot less then at my supermarket? I dont go to the supermarket. I scout round for farms and roadside stands. I also grow veggies and sprouts. There are alot of threads for eating cheaper.

3) Whats cooked food? Is it like cooked veggies or something? Cooked food is anything heated above 105 degrees. Anything is a sealed bottle is usually cooked.

4) What would you recommend to a RAW newbie and her parents? Learn all you can about raw eating. Add one raw food at a time and increase the amount of raw you eat every day. Investigate transition foods as well.

5) What are the pros? toooo many to list. AmaZING health and energy and healing.

6) What are the cons? zippo

7) Do I need to exercise or watch calories for RAW? I never count a thing, I simply eat one raw food at a time. I exercise because movement is super for the body. We are made to move! I love exercise and I feel on top of the world when I do!

8) Where can I find sprouted bread and tortillas?
Health food store has some. You can make some too.

I hope this helps you rawteen
