The Dentist flattened my bloated belly...

I spent three days at the dentist this week after not going to one in 10 yrs. I know, bad Dana...

Had a deep cleaning, root planing (yes this is as awful as it sounds), and replaced all the mercury fillings on the left side. It wasn't fun, but not as bad as I thought it would be (I have TMJ from car accidents, so the dentist is super difficult).

My mouth is still on the mend, but the bloated belly that I've had for the last year, even when I only weighed 82 lbs, is completely gone! It feels soooo amazing!

Hopefully now my body can heal up even faster :D

I'm glad for you that you toughed it out and had those things taken care of. For the sore jaw from the work, maybe oil pulling would be a gentle way to keep the jaw muscles active and stretched out to avoid tension on the joint, as well as help with gum recovery. Not sure what root planing is but I imagine the gums are sore from it. Just a thought. Happy healing!

Yeah, i'm a big believer that you can't be healthy with bad teeth/gums...

I've been oil pulling for about 8 months now and it definitely helped. I especially like to add a drop of peppermint oil to my coconut oil, it's tasty and soothing. I wish OP would help my TMJ, it's always made it worse but I do it anyway...

I also still have candida/parasite issues that my weak immune system just won't cure all the way, and I've read that mercury makes those worse so maybe that's the cause of the bloating...
