Would like to enable a notice if someone comments on your blog...

Just like if someone leaves us a message or comments on a picture, it would be nice to recieve a notification if someone comments on your blog. I was just skimming through past blog posts and found some comments and questions that people left for me that I never saw, as I stop checking my old posts once I do a new one. Is that in place somewhere, or could it be implemented?

Go to your blog and then into your blog control panel.

You can enable "moderate comments before displaying" - this way you'll get a notification of the comments. :)

When you post a new blog entry, you can choose to automatically add the entry to your list of subscribed entries, with the option to receive email notification of new comments to that blog entry.

I recently discovered that in the blog control panel. Funny how a lot of that techno jargon doesn't mean much until you are looking for a way to do something specific.

athamoleen ,this is what I did to be notified and thats why you could not even leave a comment for me, so I changed it back to no notification.

What do you mean? You had it set up to be notified by email if someone left a comment, and then it wouldn't let people leave comments?? That seems weird! Do me a favor and go leave a comment on my latest blog, someone, and see if it lets you? And if it doesn't, let me know? TIA

yes ath, so after you said you couldnt leave a comment, I went in and too the notify out and now you can comment!!!! Got it this morn...wooooohooo thnkx

As to the thread title, I dunno. What exactly did it say?

I changed to the new skin and I see a blue bar at the top with a little s on the left hand side of it.
So was wondering what thats for.
