I saw her on my Raw for Life video, she is really something. A wonderful testimonial to raw food! She doesn't just eat fruit, but she does it mostly fruit because that's what she wants to eat and likes to eat.

It's good to know about people like this. What a great testimonial to health and longevity. I'm glad I can appreciate someone like her :)

I liked, too, how she made the connection between supply and demand when it comes to meat. I wish people could get that. Our fast food nation makes life (and death) so horrendous for chickens, cows and pigs.

Oh and Audrey, did you get her notion about how we change every 7 years? I was thinking about you and that suspicious skin thing going away and you said you've been raw for 7 years!!

This is great! I have my fruititarian days, too! I love fruit and some days that ALL i want to eat.

I think it's great that she's promoting the life style...

I know to some point that Alicia Silverstone and Demi Moore do, but I don't think they consider themselves a raw vegan - full time, anyway :)

Do we know any others?? I think most will dabble in it since it's so easy to access in CA.

Jason Mraz is actually touring for Cafe Gratitude and I was lucky enough to see him this past August. He travels with someone from Cafe Gratitude. I don't know if she's his GF or just his personal chef, but he also had her singing Lucky with him and she has a beautiful voice.

I think Woody's full raw. I saw him on a show recently & he was commenting about it. They questioned the twinkies he was eating in the lastest movie. he said they were specially made raw for him.

Alicia Silverstone is vegan, but not raw at this point. She has a new cookbook out called, The Kind Diet. I saw her on a show and it's good that it's vegan, but she advocates lots of processed foods, including all the fake meat stuff. It's certainly a start for many people who are just getting into vegetarian/vegan eating, but maybe not for those who want a more whole, unprocessed, natural (and raw) approach to eating.
