Ok so I have been raw for a week but not 100% I mainly eat fruits and veggies. For breakfast I have all fruit. For lunch I have been eating fruit or raw veggies. but when It comes to dinner I eat a big salad. A few of the nights I had a small portion of chicken breast over the salad. And have ate some yogurt. Am I still getting raw benifits? I would say im 85-90% raw. I don't want to go all the way because I really love to eat chicken or tuna. My main goal is to just eat raw all day until my dinner salad or occasional yogurt.
I feel great and all just concerned about the benifits of not being 100% I am detoxing I know that.
That and how about exersice what do all of you teens do for fun exersice? I'd appreciate any help I can get or advice thanks!

Welcome!

Granted, you are eating far better than not eating any Raw, but why not do a 30-day challenge and then YOU decide if you wanna go back to eating how you mentioned?

This IS a Vegan forum so I really don't think you will get a lot of folks supporting your consuming animal products...but once again - that is your choice.

Consuming the SAD/CRAP foods in the evening I feel, is playing some havoc on your body. All day you are fueling it healthy, then before you are about to fast (sleep) - you pummel it with bad food choices. Dairy and meat. Not good.

You are confusing your body. It's working EXTRA hard during the evening/fasting (sleep) hours when it should be slowing down and healing.

But again - YOUR choice...

It's great that you're eating so healthy! While veganforlife is right, it is also important to be gentle with yourself during this transition. You will definitely get benefits from a mostly-raw diet; you will always benefit when you improve your diet, even if just a little. If you do feel like you need to eat meat and dairy, try seeking out organic dairy and chicken and sustainabley wild-caught (from the atlantic!) fish. Meat contains WAY more pesticides than produce... so it is extra-rough on your body to chow down on it! And non-organic dairy is the FIRST thing I would recommend cutting out... Bovine growth hormone wreaks havoc on my system at least.

Try introducing various nuts and seeds into your diet. You can't be healthy AND cut out all your protein sources! You may find that after you do this, you stop craving the chicken and fish... After all, it's just your body telling you that it wants protein. If that's what you normally eat, that's all it knows to tell you to eat. I really do feel like there's a difference between 80-90% raw and 100%. Try it and see if you feel like it, but always do what you think is right for you :)

Greens are a GREAT source of amino acids which create assimilable protein and Valerie is getting, according to what I'm reading, quite a bit of greens. Excess protein is over rated.

True, excess protein is overrated. Greens are the best source of protein. If someone is getting lots of greens, eating other stuff for protein is unnecessary. and nuts are actually more fat than protein.
