I'm on week two and though I felt fine the first week, I've been feeling awful this week. I've been having diarrhea the past two days and even threw up this morning. I have a head ache and just feel tired and terrible all around.
Not sure what's going on because I was fine for the most part during the first week.

If you're eating 100% RAW, you are most likely experiencing detox symptoms.
If these ARE detox symptoms and not food poisoning or the flu, then here is my suggestion:
Be patient with yourself, get rest, drink lots of water and Green Smoothie, and perservere... your body is healing itself - you will be fine.

Well my friend, welcome to the world of detox. Detox is an ugly creature that rears its head differently for everyone. You said you felt fine for the most part last week? What didn't feel fine? Are you totally Raw?
I look at detox like cleaning out the fridge. You start shoving good food there in front of containers of old bad stuff until one day you have no more room for the goodnesses and you start opening up those many containers. Well the stink, the uglies are discovered so you toss them. Lots of time containers and all. Now you have room for more goodnesses.
Your body has housed years of those rotten, nasty containers of garbage and now it's making room and (believe it or not) healing by you feeling crappy.
Hang in there and continue to eat totally Raw if you aren't already doing so and if you are not, start. It will speed up the healing (detox) process.
That's really what detox is = healing.
Rest. Drink water. You'll get thru it and then feel like you have NEVER felt before. Full of energy, mental clarity, you'll sleep well. Keep that up indefinitely and you will be one healthy, happy person...

Yep, for the most part. I just felt a little bit more tired and I was eating a lot more food but all in all there wasn't much of a difference.
I'm totally raw. I started 100% raw.

Awesome! You did it the best way I feel. So does Alissa! Totally Raw will really speed up the cleaning, healing process. Adding cooked crap confuses your body.
Way to go. This time next week you'll be laughing detox in the face and you'l have soooo much energy, you will be cleaning out the fridge in your kitchen!
WAY TO GO!!!

Just keep EATING (RAW)... EATING, EATING.... JUST KEEP EATING... eventually you'll feel so much BETTER!!! Just KEEP Eating RAW!!!! Whatever you do, DON'T STOP!!! Just KEEP EATING...EATING...EATING.... :)
Hi Veganliz...
What you're experiencing is also 'lovingly' (hmmmm) sometimes referred to as a "healing crisis". It's all the crappy stuff being released. Many people do refer to it as flu like symptoms. My personal experience was flu like symptoms combined with a nose that ran like an open tap and a cough so ongoing and 'deep' that it would at times make me vomit simply from the heavy heaving. Yuck! It can last from one day to a few days but it will pass and you will feel wonderful.
Oh... that's the good news. The bad news is that it can happen again depending on how 'sick' your body is (was) and the deeper the cleansing gets. I went through 3 over a period of about a year and a half. You get to know the symptoms... somehow they're like being 'sick' yet somehow they're 'different'. Don't know how else to explain.
You will get through it and it's well worth while because the end leaves you feeling so great you don't know what to do with it!!!! :D :D

Don't give up! You will feel better eventually. You just need to get through this. It is perfectly normal! It's worth it1
