I've been thinking that my sex drive isn't where it should be. I'm 27 & have a boyfriend & would like it to be more than what it is.
Do any foods help with this?
It may be more complicated with hormones but I thought that raw helped balance everything out??????

I think so. I met my husband about 12 years ago. I had been juicing and walking my dogs everyday. We got married after 6 months and we are still married have a little boy:)

Katie - Sex drive is not all physical for us humans as you are well aware!
How long have you been eating RAW? Are you eating 100% RAW or do you still indulge in SAD foods occasionally? Do you get good sleep? Are you under alot of stress from Work/School/Family? Are you or your bf overweight/underweight? Do either of you suffer from any chronic illnesses or autoimmune deficiencies, etc.?
TO CLARIFY MY POINT: I'm not asking you to answer all these prying questions. That would be pretty ridiculous! :D
I'm simply listing them as a summary of some of the factors that are involved in the lowering/raising of one's sex drive, in my experience.
Focus on the healing process, and don't rush your body...! RAW does help balance things out!!!
But... detox and healing take different amounts of time for different people. Thus, I could tell you MY experiences with RAW + Sex Drive, but it wouldn't be helpful, I don't think, in this context.

Green Woman.... I think I'm pretty healthy overall.
I get about 6-8hrs of sleep each night/ just depends on the night
I've been raw since the first of this year so almost a year. I don't really indulge in SAD foods, if I do it's a very small amount & maybe something like hummus that isn't raw or like a couple bites of someone's food.
I'm not really a stressed out person
I work out about 4-5x a week
I'm a positive person
I'm not overweight. I'm like 5'4" & size 2 or 4
BUT I have trouble getting rid of the weight around my stomach which is obviously hormone related somehow so I was just tieing the two together thinking there might be some correlation with that.
Any thoughts anyone?????
I'm thinking about doing a saliva test to see what my hormones are up to. I would love to have a better sex drive with my boyfriend. It makes me feel really bad but I know there's some reason for it all.

Thanks everyone! I went out & bought some today now I just have to figure out how much to take. I tend to go overboard with things so if it calls for like 1tsp I usually end up taking 1 tbsp but I don't want to hurt my body by doing that so I'll definetly get the details on this.
Ya'll are WONDERFUL, you just might save my sex drive LMAO!!!! HAHAHA!!!!

oooohhh yes!
It can definitely make a difference!
But I only noticed the difference after I got to a certain level of detox (i.e. eating raw for a certain period of time).
For me I don't think it's one particular food, though greens give me lots of energy and vibrance so they may have helped.
After a while you begin to lose weight in all the right places, and to look and feel hotter which helps no end too. :)

too much can be 'too much'. I cannot take the full amt. Start will 1tsp & work up. That may be all you need. My breast were soo sensitive, I had a hard time showering when taking the full dose. Took about 2 weeks to adjust to it. Now, I notice the difference if I don't take it. It helps sleep too.
