View Full Version : Help... engery low for 5k on Sunday Nov.7th

What should be an easy run has become difficult almost as if I was starting out as a new runner.

All and all my energy level in up, except when it comes to running I normally run 4-6 miles and since I am 100% raw (Oct 26th, 2009) I can barely finish 4 miles.

What can I do to make sure I have the energy to complete my runs. I have a 5k on Sunday that I would like to complete.:) Ann

A green smoothie before and after, with extra greens and anything else that may help. Even better if you add in coconut water with all of its electrolytes.

Oops, just saw you ARE 100% Raw - excellent!

Green smoothies are an excellent - quick fix. The minute they hit your tongue, your body is starting to assimilate them.

Goji berries are excellent for a quick energy treat. Goji and cacao nibs are what I'm snacking on right now!

:) thank you, I will try the berries and I almost tried a green drink this morning but I was afraid I'd have to go to the bathroom, lol.
