do not go together. I had a small amt in smoothie yesterday & had a mild headache. THought it was from washing all the dogs things. Today, I had about leaves in the smoothie/juice mix...intense headache again. I threw the entire 64oz drink away. I'll be passing these along.
It seems I only do well with spinach & lettuce as the greens. Ok to only rotate these two..all others bother me.

I tried collards once and it made my throat burn intensly. I switch from spinach to kale and back again. But very soon I want to get my act together and start including sprouts.

I use the mixed greens that I buy in a pound box in my green smoothies. I know it is important to get a variety. Are you fairly new to raw? If so, your digestion may need to be ramped up before you can use some of the heavier greens. Have you tried romaine? It's very mild. I love it in smoothies. Can you "do" kale? I love the cheezy kale chips. But you do need a dehydrator for those.
Good luck!

I love kale and spinach in my green drinks. You can try wheatgrass in your smoothies.
