I found out sweet potato leaves are edible last year, and so I planted some of the taters in my garden late this spring. They grew and I snagged leaves here and there to add to sandwiches and salads. They are mild and tasty. So, my point now that its fall is, does anyone grow a sweet potato in their windowsill and have it all around their kitchen? You know how kids and hippies would put 1/2 a potato in a jar of water and it would grow like mad? Well I'm thinking we could do this for fresh greens all winter (or whenever.) Just an idea.
