got some from my CSA - you could of knocked me down when I saw how they grow! I thought each one was a tiny plant - nope, on a pole like gladioli! Cept replace the flowers with tiny cabbages!
Anything raw to do with these?
Can I pickle them?
what would YOU do?!?!?

Brussels are like mini cabbages. I personally never cared for them...but think they could be subbed in cabbage recipes. Maybe Alissa's slaw or kim chi?

I chop the brussels into halves and add some grapeseed oil, salt, minced garlic and a little agave. You can add whatever spices you want. Mix it up in a big bowl and dehydrate overnight.
The brussel sprouts will be crispy and flavorful. Yum!

I may have to try these bad boys again. I remember the mushy cooked version that gagged me...

hahahahaha i just posted about this in day 4 of this month's raw food challenge LOL
sliced them in half, added in some udo's 3-6-9 oil to coat... sprinkled generously with celtic sea salt and some cajun spices (you can use whatever you want)... dehydrate them and use them as popcorn or croutons!

Wow, I didn't know that! Too cute; I may have to try growing them next year!

Okay, that sounds amazing. I miss lightly steamed Brussels sprouts... your dehydrated version sounds like it will totally fulfill my craving for them! Thank you!
