Hear it is November already.....

(Today is my Birthday!!) :)

My present to myself is to take the bull by the horns per say & get back to being serious about this healthy lifestyle that I so long for.....;)

The past couple months haven't gone so well with my RAW eating & my commitment to exercising.

Well.....that all changes today!

I am back to being 100% Raw - it's really how I feel my best :o

Tomorrow starts my new workout schedule as well:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday - I will walk on the treadmill for 45-55min & do a total body weight machine routine on those days. I will be exercising with a friend, so the accountability factor will be there - which seems to be something I'm in need of again....

Tuesday & Thursday - I will continue to teach/do my 60min yoga classes

Sat/Sun - optional rest days, or a dvd at home

Hope you will all join in!!

I'm in!

Happy Birthday Monkapotapus.

I have been making a renewed commitment to fitness. Have been back at it for about 3 weeks now and would like to join the thread.

I am doing weights 3 days a week and cardio 3 days a week giving me 6 days at the gym and one day off. On my cardio days, I do 30 minutes hills on the treadmill and on weights day I do squats, bench press, shoulders, biceps and triceps or combinations of those for about 45 minutes.

I feel so much better already and I think feeling better about myself will make me want to eat better too. More raw that is.

Happy birthday! ((hugs))

Although I'm not logging here much, I still continue my exercises, just feels easier to keep a track of it offline ;)

November 2 and I did a 10 minute warm up in the treadmill and about 45 minutes of weights. When I do squats without my trainer there they feel so awful. I'm sure my form is lousy and wonder if I am getting anything out of them. However I slog on:o

I'm in! My mind is satisfied with raw so that habit is down pat. I have taken it a little too easy on myself with my strength training since I was transitioning to raw. I feel like I have lost some muscle, especially in my upper body. No more!

I started yesterday with a good upper body workout, and today I did 6 km on my bike and about 45 minute walk along the beach barefoot. THAT felt so good.

I am going to try and stick to doing at least one area of the body at least 5 days a week for 30 min or so. The good thing though is my body builds muscle so easily that I'll see the pay off faster than I can lose motivation! Yay!

Keep it up everyone!

Whoot!

Day 3 and I've already finished up my strength training for the day! A did a great all-over body workout. Lunges hurt like heck but my arms aren't feeling so weak today, soreness from sunday's routine yes, but not WEAK.

Tonight I won't get off work 'till ten, so I'll just go on my Wii fit for a half hour or so to wind down for bed. At least I'll be lifting, pushing, and walking for the next 8 hours at work!

Have a great active day everyone!

Yesterday- Yoga and stretching. My muscles needed it so much!

Today- I'm about to leave for this. 6km bike ride to a few different grocery stores around the city. Then when I get home and put everything away I will do 30-40 min upper body workout. I can't wait!

Evening all! Nothing for today other than gentle walking and stretching. Yesterday I was very stressed and took my bike for a ride..then rode longer then expected. 26 kms overall. I didn't realize how far I'd gone until i was in the next city over haha (it's a trail along a lake :) )

I am feeling it today though!

So, I have been exercising moderatly for the last three weeks (actually I moderatly exercise 5-6 days a week 30 min min.) but I haven't been posting. Maybe if I make myself more accountable, I'll push more.

10 min walk at lunch so far...

Planning on working out with KettleBells now and for my future. I'm really excited about it! Thanks Revvell!!! :)

Thanks for this thread! :)

I'm planning on keeping track of my workout routine in my new exercise book from now on. I never really kept track of my exercises before. This thread showed me that it would be a good idea to start doing that, so I can see how much progress I've made. So that I can give myself a good ole pat on the back for keeping up the happy exercises!! ;)

Thanks Monkapotapus!!!

My knee is bothering me today -- I've been hitting the gym pretty hard the last 3 weeks (though I keep forgetting to report here).

So today, probably a 3-mile walk wearing knee brace.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Everyone,
I'm a lurker on this forum and have been on and off with 100%. I love veggies and have always incorporated so many veggies in my eating but recently have gotten away from it. With 10lbs to lose I know and really want to get more to a raw vegan diet and to be much more accountable in the world of exercise.

So I have been on and off but will be doing an hour of Yoga today.

Happy exercising!

Sat/Sun - I did some "deep cleaning" in the kitchen the past couple days - pretty much everything from the ceiling down - including light fixtures, windows, curtains, etc....lots of scrubing & wiping, up/down etc....not the traditional workout, but hey it's something! ;)

Looks like everyone's doing a great job!

Welcome to those who are new as well :)
