I'm 38....that seemed so old to me in high school or whenever I used to watch that TV show "thirtysomething". :) These days, I'm just glad to be alive for my kids. And now, going raw, I just feel this is like a missing link or something. I am finally starting to feel "in my skin". :D

biologically I am 31 but people I've met were surprised and thought I'd be somewhere ranging from 18-early 20s!! Also been told I am a wise old lady trapped in a young person's body!! Personally I'd like to say.....
I AM AGELESS!! I AM TIMELESS!! :D

I just had a birthday and I'm 47. But on my raw birthday pie I put 39 candles on it! I just waited until someone noticed and my family all got a good laugh. I said it is my birthday and I can be any age I want to be!
Although I must say that I feel healthier now than I ever did in my 20's and 30's so yes... it just gets better and better!
I'm Don a 45 y/o from Florida and am brand new to this site and the raw food lifestyle! Hoping to take it day by day and begin a new life journey. Any beginning help would be very much appreciated. Thanks....

I have been sitting here waiting for someone to admit to being older than me but so far no one has owned up so OK. I am 53 and the oldest so far. I have no intention of ever acting like a 53 year old even when I am 103 which I honestly expect to get to. I am now officially caling for a 50th reunion this time 2055 and I expect to be there. Maybe by then it will be a case of "beam me up scottie" so we can have the reunion in person.

I'm 38 this year. Ahhh time. Wierd stuff. Sometimes time shwooshes by, and other times it saunters. Odd thing: I've heard that after 7 years, every cell in your body has been replaced, yet I still feel just about the same! It is true: I'm a bit slower in some respects, yet I have a deeper understanding of many things now. Mmmm, this year will be a fantastic one!
TIME TO FOLLOW OUR DREAMS: I'm moving with my family up to Duvall, WA to attend the Wilderness Awareness school for a year. It has been my dream to get more connected to the wilderness and the wild energy of life that flows. (Sometimes it seems harder for me to connect to that life source in our human-centric big cities.) I have been looking into this school for 9.5 years! :p Finally I decided that it was TIME. Really, it was the birth of my first son that got my motor going, and the birth of my second son that had me shift from neutral to drive! I want my kids to grow up knowing that they can be any way that want to be, and to do anything that they want to do... and I realize that I must model this. That is why I am heading off to this school. (more at wildernessawareness.org)
TIME TO EAT RAW: Weeks merge so quickly into months and those soon turn into years ... and I find that there are some things that I've wanted to do that I just haven't done. Eating Raw is one of those. Anyone else out there order Alissa's book and DVD, then read it a bit and watch some of the DVD and then ... uh, let time pass by? Fortunately I'm choosing this move to be a time of movement in many areas of my life, including my food choices. Earlier this week I went to an evening talk by the Boutenko's, and even though they had to leave a day earlier, I met with some raw fooders and got some copies of the Boutenko's books, and am again inspired to take steps here in this realm.
TIME TO REACH OUT: I love this forum! I've poked around here periodically, and am always inspired by the community here. Thanks to all of you for your loving support here!
TIME TO GO: I'll 'see' you again!

PS Anyone in the Greater Seattle area? I'd love to get together for some 'offline' support! Maybe we could share a meal or two? PM me!
PPS Oooo! This is my first post here! (And I've been a member since Feb!) Kudos to me! :)

Wow, we have such a diversity of ages here (and a diversity...period). But it's just kinda nice to see people from 16 on up to 53 (perhaps older) posting here together and for the most part, getting along and just being a community!
O/T: Don, welcome and please join us in the Raw Living Foods Discussion forum to ask as many questions as you please and get support.
Mangoman, welcome to you too...loved your post! There is a whole big 'ole raw community in Seattle. I'm all the way in Olympia. But check out http://rawseattle.org as they are always having gatherings, potlucks, etc. going on.
