Since I am already doing a green smoothie fast, I thought it would be a good time to add a liver flush. I have been having twinges in my gb area from time to time. I have never had a full blown attack. I started doing liver flushes about 12 years ago and always found them beneficial, so I am looking forward to doing my first RAW liver flush, with fresh squeezed apple juice! I do plan to ONLY do the apple juice for three days, if I can, and do some enemas and SWF to really get my colon cleaned out, so I can REALLY see all those stones come out. I plan to start on Monday and do the flush Wednesday night.
Anyone else?

I did a flush shortly before beginning my latest cleanse. Doing a flush always helps my health.

I'm in!! I was already planning a liver cleanse for next week based on some holistic anti-cancer resources I've been reading (all raw). I've been adapting my diet to liver-friendly things the last few days (e.g. juicing organic beets... yummy!), and have some good-quality raw supplements, but want to do some reading on RFT to see what others are doing for liver flushes.
Are you talking about the thing where you have to drink straight olive oil, Epson salts in water, and that kind of stuff? I don't know if I can handle that!! :o

I'd like to... haven't done one since going raw...
How is raw different? Besides the obvious non bottled apple juice. What do you replace it with if you do not have a juicer? Apple smoothies?
Is the liver flush posted somewhere online or does anyone care to email it to me?
If it is in the book, I still don't (yet) have one...

You can put your apple smoothie into a nut mylk bag (or paint strainer bag from a hardware store) and squeeze out the juice. Compost the pulp... and voila... you have apple juice.

there is a link right on this site, though why it is not edited to remove the cooked food references, I don't know.
Anyway it is:

I am obviously not doing the cooked foods and actually plan to just fast on raw apple juice. I figure a gallon of apple juice should be enough calories!

I am really very interested in this Liver Cleanse. I hope some of you will answer my many questions.
I have a lot of questions about this Liver Cleanse and I posted them at:
Liver Cleanse Information Needed? (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=54513)
I wonder if this will solve some of the pain I am suffering.
A number of people in this thread (and others) are quoted. Please help me find answers to the questions I posted there?
Thanks,
Lan

OK, so if anyone is interested, today was day 1 of my liver flush. I did a salt water flush first thing this morning. I have done them before and they always went right through me in one hour, but this one is still doing its job 12 hours later. Oy Vey! I was talking to my boss at work and had to make a sudden and embarassing dash to the bathroom! Good thing I am off work the next two days.
I made three quarts of apple juice but could only down two. As I have mentioned before, I am not a big fruit eater, and all that juice got very unappealing after awhile. I am hungry now but not hungry enough to drink any more juice. I think for future cleanses I will find the malic acid capsules, maybe even tomorrow, so I can enjoy some other juices. I do like that my colon is getting cleaned out at the same time. Before bed tonight I am going to take some Hulda Clark herbal parasite killer drops and see what comes out with tomorrow's flush. OOoooo doggies, Ellie Mae, this is fun!

Yeah, I was IN THE BATHROOM a lot yesterday. Last time I did salt flushes, they pretty much were done with their job in an hour. This time it kept working on me all day, like while at work in the middle of a conversation with my boss  and at home while trying to get to sleep 14 hours later
But I am definitely getting cleaned out! Nothing but bile coming out now. I started some parasite drops last night.
I am at this moment chugging my swf for today.

I am working on the second quart of apple juice, just got a cup or so left. It definitely tastes better chilled. I will remember that, and am actually going to make my first quart for tomorrow when I get off the phone. I know it is more nutritious fresh but the taste is just......whew.....too cloyingly sweet.
I also found some malic acid capsules so am popping those too. I have taken the parasite drops three times today and will do another dose later. I am going to take some Candigone capsules too. Might as well do the whole shootin' match.
What is weird is that I never had any results from this morning's salt water flush. Zip. Nada. I do not like that, because there were two teaspoons of salt in there and now guess who is all bloated up. I think it must be because I sipped it over the course of about an hour instead of chugging it. Now I know, chug, don't sip. So tomorrow I chug, but tonight it is enema time because I feel a bit uncomfortable.
I have some water kefir going, my first batch, and it will be ready Thursday morning. I am looking forward to having that to replace some of my intestinal flora that is getting swept away.

Today I chugged my salt water flush down in about 10 minutes, and it had the desired effect....in fact a little too much effect. This is TMI, but just so you know, if you have downed a salt water flush and then think you are going to pass some gas, go sit on the toilet to do it. Just trust me on that one.
I have taken tons of anti yeast and anti parasite stuff and yet my guts are quiet and I have no headache. In the past when I especially have done yeast cleanses, I got terrible headaches from die-. No headache at all this time, and that is really good news to me. I didn't think candida was a problem, but this confirms that it is not. And yes I eat fat, and no I don't eat a lot of fruit.
I have finished one quart of apple juice and have the second one chilling and ready to go. Right now I am going to go juice my grapefruits and have them cold for later tonight when I "do the deed."
I will let you know tomorrow how it goes. If I pass any stones, I plan to take pictures, so beware!

I'm glad it's over! BUT I got more stones out this time than I ever have.
I drank the 1/2 cup of olive oil with 1 cup of very cold grapefruit juice at 10pm last night, after doing an enema to make sure my colon was as clean as I could get it. I laid on my right side for an hour, then used the bathroom and went to sleep.
I didn't sleep really well. I woke up a number of times, not really in distress but burping olive oil and needing to use the bathroom.
At 5am I had a large mucousy stool but did not see any stones in it.
Went back to bed and slept till 8 am. I got up and choked down 2/3 of the quart of salt water flush. I just could not face any more. I was absolutely NOT hungry.
At about 10am the salt water flush kicked in in a big way and I passed a ton of stones. Most of them were tiny, what I call "chaff", but I had a few that were big enough to fish out and take a picture:

The stones were extremely soft, so the apple juice and malic acid capsules really did the job.
I do not plan to do an apple juice fast again. It was just too unpleasant for me. I plan to repeat the liver flush next week but just stick to green smoothies and malic acid capsules. In the meantime I am embarking on a colon cleanse and going to continue the parasite and yeast cleanse products. These are things I have had for awhile and just decided to use them up.
