Hello from Arizona!

New to the forum (finally making time for posting after lurking a bit). Raised by an herbalist mom on vegetarian diet. Love health, fitness, all things creative.

How I found my way here, posting...
Began a new journey as a mom at 40 and felt the need to upgrade my routine to get in better shape for my son. Saw myself in his birthday photos when he turned one - UGH! That same week I found myself in a conversation with a woman at the deli counter at Wild Oats (now Whole Foods) about the lack of organic choices there. She had just returned from the Raw Spirit Fest in Sedona. That conversation was all I needed. Now, 80-100% raw diet for two years.

Do you have Alissa's book and DVDs? If yes, blow the dust off of them and refind it. If not, why not? LOL!

Not yet, but thanks for the welcome and the tip! Wish she (or someone) open a raw food restaurant in Scottsdale-Phoenix area.

Thanks for the wishes and encouragement. Some days... my wish is for a personal live food chef!
