Hi all,

I recently picked up the 80/10/10 diet book and started following some of the included meal guides.

The dinner last night as 3 courses, fresh orange/pomegranate juice (which was delicious), yellow pepper, tomato, cucumber soup which was also pretty good but the last course called for

A POUND of red leaf lettuce, 8 oz cucumber 8oz tomato and 1oz pistachio nut.

I was thinking a POUND of lettuce, really? that was 2 full heads at the grocery store.

I cut up 1 head and it filled the largest salad bowl I have. After eating the other courses I couldn't even eat half a pound of lettuce, I probably at about half of it, maybe. I couldn't imagine eating a pound of lettuce, there's just no way I'd be able to eat it.

Has anyone eaten this much, or tried the meals in this book? Is it a typo maybe? I doubt it tho cause there are a few other salad recipes that call for a whole pound. I just can't wrap my head around how it will be possible to eat that much lettuce lol.

You might want to read the mission statement. I'm pretty sure your thread will be deleted as this forum is based on Alissa's book, not any other.

I couldn't eat a pound of lettuce either. Maybe throughout the day but certainly not at one meal.
