Hi, I'm new to being raw, I don't even know where to start. I wanted some suggestions on starting off with breakfast, lunch and dinner and nothing to complicated because I don't have any of the equipment yet. I just want to detox for 14 -30 days. I've been a on & off vegetarian for almost 2 years. The off times I was eating shellfish and fish. So I want to start off right with no more animal products. Any suggestions?

I'd just suggest going to the store and looking in the produce section. Just take your time looking at everything they have there.
I know I often time don't look at everything they have, I have a bad habit of just going after what I usually get.
Try different things. Anything raw goes!
I just bought 3 bunches of bananas Wednesday night and they are all gone now!
Watermelon, bananas, salads, peaches, grapes, the possibilites are endless even if you don't have all the equipment. Actually I wish sometimes I did not have all the equipment. Sound funny, but then I'd be on a very simple raw diet! Just raw fruits, veggies and nuts! k
One other recommendation. Read, read, and read! Order Alissa's book and come to this site for encouragement, ideas and support! I have NEVER EVER found such a supportive board. And I've been part of quite a few. Some raw and some just parenting boards! This one is by far the most caring and there's just something about the spirit at this board. I love it! I think a little too much! :D
Oh and welcome to the boards!

Good luck!

She is so right - Detoxing - please do not set a time limit for how many days you want to do this - the body isn't like that - you may not do a whole lot your first 30 days, it is more about what lifestyle you had before, you may also, go hard for 12-14 days, let up a tad, and then go another round - just flow with it.

You must make sure that you are getting enough to eat or you will not be successful. Of course there are threads here that ask what do you eat, and I also suggest that you read the journals, as some are very detailed on their journey and it will help you tremedoulsy. Of ocurse order Alissa's book, she does provide 14 days of menus, but int he meantime here are a couple of thread available:
