Evening everyone!
I just need to write this down to share with you all! I will write in my personal blog/journal, but I want to share! haha
I LOVE GREENS!
I cannot describe how in love with them I am right now!
I started my RAW journey at the end of august, with two slip ups in this past month, otherwise 100%.
I know most of us research this lifestyle as we start out, and of course as we progress, so I am assuming most of you have read how our cravings/needs change overtime on RAW.
I am also assuming a lot of you, like myself, couldn't quite grasp that concept! ha! I've always been a sweets person, not salty, nor savoury, but SWEET. Sickeningly so, you cannot imagine.
I indulged that sweet tooth with a LOT of fruit, and I've done wonderfully with that, but this past week...my god! Bananas are so sweet they hurt my teeth, apples are just..ugh..even some tomatoes are a bit much for me!
I have had a PHYSICAL NEED for greens! All greens! Since this past wednesday, I've had about 3 pounds of spinach, 5 heads of romaine, 2 bunches of dandelion, 1 head of kale, and lots and lots of celery! Even as I type I am munching on a bowl with 2 romaine hearts diced up with cucumbers. It is heavenly...
I am doing a green smoothie feast because of this, since I am eating SO much green, I want to ensure I'm digesting it all quite nicely, and the other benefits of course! I cannot even stand more than half a banana or some berries in these smoothie either :/ .
I just want to share how excited I am that my body is changes so drastically in it's needs, and the simple fact that I am ABLE to recognize those needs!
Has anyone else had such a drastic turn around in their daily diet?
I'm off to do some research and munch on my greens!
