I'm just double checking to make sure I'm not missing something that would make sense to take out a larger amount of flex. Basically all I use it for now is eye contacts.

Are any of the items out there (green powders, etc, rofl..) be applicable? you can see that I already most likely have the answer.

It's just somewhat a pity because people can use it on vitamins I think, but other stuff that's closer to real food or some other type of therapy isn't covered.

I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about? Flex spending account? Eye contacts? Can you make eye contact with people here? Totally confused.

It completely depends on the program you're affiliated with. Call them up and ask.

I'm curious as to what you find out, hopefully some good news!

I would be curious as well. As far as I know the flex account at my husbands employment, you are only able to use it on co-pays, medicines and all the standard things that seem to go along with what they consider a standard medical need. I so wish they would have a flex account for my Natural Food store. That would be so awesome..

Maybe at a chiropractors office if you need adjusments
maybe for acupuncture or fitness classes

I doubt for food!

A lot of chiropractors, acupuncturists and holistic dentists sell products like green powders and Standard Process herbs so you could probably get those through them on flex, but you'd be limited to their brands

This depends on the company you use. I asked mine, and nothing worthwhile is included. I can't even include a health club membership! Nothing.

For mine, just eye exams, contact lenses, glasses, things like that. I have over $1000 sitting there, useless to me because I don't *need* to go to the doctor or take prescription meds.

I would so stop contributing to that sort of account

m,aybe you can see a dietitician and get a reccomendation for a vitamixer

or prepay a dermatologist or massage therapist for future treatments

or maybe a podiatrist will order you a lifetime supply of some orthopedically correct shoes and inserts

Any plans on becoming pregnant soon and using a midwife??? Prepay he maybe?
