Well I have just been in bliss these past few days foraging for wild foods!

Here is the list of stuff I found.

walnuts (two kinds) HUGE!
elderberries (in dehy to dry for smoothies for immune portect this winter)
dandelions
red clovers
wild apples (oh my!!!)
mushrooms (not edible I found out after careful research so I made a picture on them)
pine cones and boughs for deco

Hmmmm pretty good list huh. Pretty amazing food too!!!

What have you been foraging or even stocking up for winter?

Woahh, you must transition straight from summer -> winter. Where do you live at? I'm so glad there are other foragers on this board lol.

I haven't done much foraging to prep for winter since I haven't had much time to browse the locale. Mainly black walnuts (just tried for first time this year, they taste very different than English walnuts) and pistachios.

This spring -> summer we got...

Wild garlic (ramps), blackberries, raspberries, mulberries, elderberries, 3 apple varieties, 4 grape varieties, crabapples, peaches, pears, and acorns.
