I think there are others here who subscribe to Frederic Patenaude's newsletter...has anyone read the recent one on sea veggies which states that nori is not actually vegetarian, because fish end up getting pressed into the sheets too?

I would like to know more about this...anyone have any info?

Yes, there are companies that "process" small sea creatures (crabs, fish, etc) with the Nori they make, these companies also "cook/toast and process the Nori"

Try to find good RAW sources.

There are tons of threads on this.

Hope that helps. :)
I do believe Alissa sells RAW Nori, go to the tab with her name and that should lead you to the items for sale.
