OH BOY Ya'll...
My willpower was SO tested tonight and I actually contemplated giving into the temptation. :eek:
My dh and I were on the way home from a doctor appointment and I had to drive quite a ways across town to get his certain prescription filled. He asked me if I had ever had ice cream from this particular place because it was the "best" ice cream ever. I said no and he said that I should get just the smallest cone dipped in chocolate. I said that I should NOT get it because I was trying so hard to eat right. He insisted (which is wierd for him) that it would not hurt to just treat myself "once". I giggled and then proceeded to drop him off at the house before going across town. Well, I went to kiss him good-bye and he said that "oh, by the way" he had left $3 on the seat of the car for my ice cream treat!!!
Now, don't get me wrong, my dh is behind me 100% and never tries to "sabatoge" me or anything, but he honestly thought he was being so sweet!
The BAD part is that I REALLY was contemplating and rationalizing stopping to get the ice cream to the point that I was going to turn into the parking lot!!!!! :(
The GOOOOD part.... I drove by and it was CLOSED!!! Yippie!!!! I am now drinking a large green smoothie! HMMMMMM... This is a MUCH better treat than that ice cream would have been - and NO regrets from it either! :D
