MSM Megadose Cleanse

Hello everyone,

I've been on an MSM megadose cleanse for the last 3 days.

Has anyone else done this? What did you experienece? Your thoughts would be most welcome :)

How much is a megadose? How long do you stay on it? Where did you get information about it? Have you taken MSM before? Is it wise to jump in without gradually building up and testing for side effects? As you can see I have a lot of questions about it, too.

I've read of people taking 2-3 Tablespoons a day, but that scares me.

I take 2 teaspoons in a pint of water every morning. I'm guessing that is not a megadose. ;)

i've taken 3 or 4 tablespoons per day for a bit (can't remember exactly how much)... when i was first fasting last year. i just do a couple of tablespoons here and there when i get the earning from within.

you can tell when you are doing too much MSM cause you'll have runny stools. when that happens, back off 1 tsp and you'll be good to go for a bit. you can always try increasing again later... (from what i've read). i just sat at my 'max' and didn't bother increasing beyond that.

so what's the point of doing a mega dose of MSM? and how does it cleanse?

I've never heard of the MSM Megadose Cleanse, but I'm very curious to know how it's done, it's purpose, etc.

I previously took 1/2 teaspoon MSM powder in my morning juice for about 2-3 weeks and saw wonderful results with my skin, but stopped after having miserable flu like symptoms that I initially thought were detox - that lasted 4-5 days.

For the past 2 weeks, I've been using MSM powder & Cream by Rich Distributing. At this point, I add 1/4 teaspoon powder to my juice twice per day and apply the cream to scars. I plan to gradually increase the dose in my juice because I've been concerned about "jumping" into any larger dose.

So, please tell me all about this cleanse and how it's done.
