I have been sitting here reading lots of Alissa's old threads on the forum. I love her enthusiasm when I hear her voice, read her words or watch her DVD... this woman just inspires me soooo much.

So I thought I'd share this thread (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=4133) with you all... it's long and I love Alissa's first post (as well as many others) but that first post speaks volumes for me.

Cause this forum is about sharing and inspiring each other. It's why I became a member early into my raw food lifestyle and it's why I'm still a member today.

Alissa's Book + DVD were my introduction to Raw Foods! I'd been searching for a diet for years, and suffering a myriad of illnesses, allergies, and deficiencies my entire childhood.

I was introduced to Raw Food at age 20, and it didn't take long for me to figure out that I had found THE IDEAL way for me to eat and live!

I'm now 24 years old, and Alissa's book is STILL my favorite book and the most prominently displayed item on my Kitchen Table... and I'm constantly recommending it to friends. :D

Thank you, Alissa - your inspiration has shown me a way to have a greatly increased quality of life! I do sincerely love and appreciate you!!!

Yes, thank you Alissa! I was one of the first two moderators on this board in 2004. Alissa was so awesome to work with! I've run w/ the ball (raw), and dropped the ball, many times in the last 5 years, but when I need to get back on track, this is where I always return. Thank you so much Alissa for keeping the vision of this board alive and growing. I still cheer every time you have success with your company.
