I'm almost afraid to post this for fear that it might not be true. But I'm going to put myself out there anyway.

Today, I've eaten all raw meals and watched T.V. and seen all the commercials that I usually see and my mouth has not watered for even one restaurant or food commercial. Which is very, very, very unusual for me. I many times get a grumbling in my stomach or my mouth waters or there is some sort of signal that makes me want to either hop up and go to the fridge or that makes me think about the kitchen, even if I don't get up and go there. That has not happened at all today. I'm pretty sure that's a good thing.

I realized this earlier this afternoon and so when another food commercial came on I paid closer attention. I thought, now usually, I'm really craving something when I see this commercial, but nothing. The food looked really unappealing. However, when I started thinking about what I was going to make for dinner (red bell peppers with 'suny' pâté), my mouth started to water. Imagine that.

I hope this keeps up and isn't just fleeting.

FRET NOT!!!!! HAHA! That's awesome! Trust me it will only get easier! Cooked food really doesn't appeal to me anymore & I don't even think twice when I see a commercial for food unless it's raw! & that's for real! If there's a commercial for a big salad or fruit, I'm all about it....other than that, cooked food doesn't appeal to me.

Congratulations on being @ an awesome place in your journey!!!!

I've found the same thing. It is so great not to be controlled by food!

Yeah, The cooked food cravings fade away like echo's in the Grand Canyon. They start out loud and persistent and slowly fade away as the system gets cleaner and "forgets" them. They gradually lose both intensity and frequency until you arn't draw to cooked food anymore. It just takes a little time and making sure not to re-introduce any cooked food into the system as that keeps the cravings alive.

i hear ya. when i see a food commercial i'm looking at the veggies... and they get my mouth watering. LOL i'll even say to my hubby... oh now i soooooo want a tomato - he just laughs at me cause he figures the commercials have totally lost their point with me now.

Cool. I knew there would be others that would feel the same. I just wasn't sure if what I was feeling was genuine, but I really think it is. :) I think there were some mental hurdles I needed to jump for some strange reason, but I've gotten over some of them. This is day three I'm working on. No cravings for SAD.
