I could have sworn I read about here but after searching I didn't find anything.
I tried one last night for the first time and have a few questions. I am just getting over the flu and have been high raw since last Christmas so I didn't think there would be alot of toxins left to come out but was I ever wrong.
I stayed in 15 or minutes and found it very relaxing but after getting out I was extremely weak and had to go lie down for an hour. I was sweating and light headed, felt faint, shortness of breath, mucousy, coughing etc, then I got the chills, then after an hour of all that - I felt wonderful!
My bathtub is also shiny and looks brand new, lol!
I'm wondering if this was normal and how often I should do these soaks? I figured it was a good time as I am almost over the flu and the soak would help get rid of whatever was left.
The soak was 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup epsom and 1 cup sea salt and a few drops of lavender oil, I used 1/2 cup of the mixture.
