I heard they are genetically modified a lot , are they safe to eat ?

Obviously I could just ring and ask if it was Genetically modified, but would they be healthy anyway if they weren't ?

Why do you think they're genetically modified. To me, it looks like 3 types of sprouts in one container.
Suggestion ~ do a google search on the three. Find out if they're safe to eat then come back and tell us what you've found.

This is what I found out. Rapeseed used to be inedible, but due to modern (but NOT GM) plant breeding techniques, rapeseed became edible and was (for obvious reasons) renamed Canola. In Canada, the main producer, 85% of rapeseed/canola is now GM to withstand certain herbicides. No GM rapeseed is grown in the EU, so most likely in England, the rape in your cress mix is hybrid but NOT GM.
