View Full Version : healing ideas for quadricep fat pad and also foods for reduction of inflammation

Hello!

I was in a car accident end of march and have had massive knee pain since then. While it is getting better slowly. I am agroup fitness instructor as a profession and could not take time off. Anyhow, had a MRI done last week and orthopedic dr says my knee is very inflamed. Any ideas on foods, besides the fresh pineapple, that will help reduce swelling?

I gave the chiro results of MRI and he says that it said my quadricep fat pad on one knee was all wore down which would be causing inflammation in the knee. He does say this can be rebuilt. Anybody have any ideas on anything that might help aid this process along?

I sprained my ankle and broke my kneecap some years ago and took massive amounts of MSM.

that is a good tip. any one else - food ideas perhaps? i am already on lots of other supplements to help keep the inflammation down. they are getting costly.

Go to www.nutritiondata.com and check out individual foods to find their inflammatory loads. I think it's a great resouce.

I broke my knee a few years ago.

MSM.

Gingeroot.

Water.

Plenty of daily green juices!

Lemons.
