I went to the dr. yesterday and I'm really disappointed to say that I am anemic. I had low iron last year but I have been doing green smoothies for so long now that I thought it would be better. I'm not all raw but I have increased my raw a lot and since July, I think, I have had a green smoothie every morning. Does anybody have any idea why this wouldn't improve my iron??

White potatoes (if expose to natural light or sunlight), low vitamin D and low B12 will lead to iron deficiency.

low vitamin D, huh? That's interesting because my B12 is good but I'm low on Vit. D. I do eat potatoes as well. I actually just found out that I have leaky gut and a TON of food allergies, so my stomach probably isn't absorbing nutrients very well.
