My hens like my juice fast too ...

I have a small number of hens which were rescued from a battery farm (through the battery hen welfare trust). They are the best waste of time ever and I can sit and watch them for hours. I have discovered that they love the pulp from my juicer. They are currently lying in the evening sun with the cats and the dog.

The household is very tranquil just now :)

I had a cat that loved melon, pineapple, celery, banana, asparagus to mention just a few. She'd munch through melon; rind and all!

a cat? now that is amazing. they can be so picky. my dogs will eat pretty much any raw stuff now. they wouldn't at first, but now they love it.

they are fed a raw diet as well so i don't know how much that has to do with it.

that's amazing they all lay together!! you should photo it & send it in someplace. My dog love carrot/celery pulp. He waits by the juicer daily. I think it makes them look better & helps in the winter.
