Hi, I am in need of some ideas for quick raw breakfasts that are not fruit based, or need soaked or sprouted nuts seeds grains etc or have to be dehydrated the night before.
I really don't want salad for breakfast and am stumped, being new. Green smoothies just don't keep me satisfied for long and I end up craving solid food.
I would appreciate some guidance since I really MUST stay on a raw food diet now.

My advice for your guidance would be to get Alissa's book and DVDs. LOADED with recipes, from calzones to cake to smoothies...
You are narrowing it down to very slim pickings there!

I eat raw oatmeal a lot. Yes, you do have to soak it overnight, but it's really just a case of throwing a few ingredients in the blender the night before and then just hitting blend in the morning.
I wrote out the raw oatmeal recipe according to me (http://therawtarian.com/raw-oatmeal-recipe/).
I must say that green smoothies do keep you full if you drink a LOT of them, especially sipping slowly over time.

It depends on what you have in the cupboard.
One thing that I do if I am in a hurry.
Grind 2 tblspoons of flax seed in coffee grinder. Add 2 tblspoons of Lucuma flour and mix in water. If I have a little while longer I would mix them in the blender (after grinding the flax) and add some gogi berries.
Fast and nutritious.

Ani Phyo has a truly good breakfast cake. I'd also consider pancakes and eggplant bacon. Make 'em on Sunday and have them for the next few days.
Also, as Lucy said ~ Alissa's book has LOADS of stuff you can make ahead and just have for the future. I'm making lasagna today for a Tweetup lunch tomorrow.
I like raw porridge in the morning too. I blend 1/2 cup oats (having to use non-raw at the moment), one chopped apple, 4-5 dates and 2/3 cup warm water. Blend for a few seconds and enjoy. I had it poured over a sliced banana today, but I have replaced the apple with banana before and blended the banana in. It is really filling and keeps you full for a good while.
Also I can recommend Ani Phyo's coconut breakfast cakes which I like with sliced bananas and a touch of agave drizzled over.

I have a no fruit, no nut,no seed,no sprouting very filling breakfast every morning.
Half of one lemon juiced (hmm.. I guess thats a fruit eh;), you could do without the lemon)
1 Tablespoon chlorella powder
3-4 cups of water
Mix and drink.
Leaves me full for hours.

You don't have to dehydrate every night. Make a big batch of granola type cereal and store in the fridge or freezer. Eat it by the handful or serve it with almond milk that you make every 3 days.
You could also do a quickie shake in the blender. A spoonful of two of almond butter (or tahini, or a handful of cashews, or hemp seeds), and a cup of water with a few drops of vanilla. I would add a frozen banana, too. And maybe some superfoods like Alissa's green food powder, maca and/or spirulina.

zucchini hummus :
does it taste nice ?
Yes, its really delicious. I tried it yesterday, and today too, even my non raw family liked it :) Its lovely as a dip for carrots, cucumbers, red bell peppers for example.

There is a wonderful cinnamon bun recipe in Rawsome!. I do put them in the D the night before, but have had them cold and they are just as good.

wow - thanks everyone. By now, I have started finding and making recipes including some of Alissa's. I didn't know about raw granola, cakes and breads when I asked that. Plus, my appetite has normailized and now a green smoothie does keep me satisfied. We are 80% raw now and should e 100% by March.

the types of you foods you crave and need during specific times of the day will change for you as you continue your journey: i used to NEED a heavy breakfast to feel satisfied in the mornings. Now on certain mornings I will crave greens, and tea or a smoothie and marinated green beans or a smoothie and raw grwanola cereal or a smoothie and a banana or just a simple but filling soup such as blending 1.5 carrots an inch of ginger a T of miso and some water with a dash of pepper. Hang in their and watch and feel your body transform ! much love !
